【学院介绍】

南京大学建筑与城市规划学院拥有建筑学和城乡规划学两个一级学科,以培养高层次建筑设计、城市设计、景观规划与设计、城市与区域规划等方面专业人才为办学目标。建筑学科在雄厚的建筑设计研究、建筑历史与理论研究的基础上,对新兴的城市建筑、数字建筑和绿色建筑等领域开展世界前沿性的研究和教学。城乡规划学科源于人文地理和经济地理,立足于南京大学在城市科学方面的研究基础,对城市和区域规划开展跨学科的研究和教学。学院现拥有建筑学和城乡规划学两个一级学科博士点,建筑学和城乡规划学两个一级学科硕士点,以及建筑学和城市规划两个专业硕士点。现有专职教师68名,其中教授20名、副教授22名,均有国内外知名高等院校的学习与工作经验和丰富的创作能力、工程实践经验。

 

【招聘岗位设置】

南京大学建筑与城市规划学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事建筑学、城乡规划学各研究方向教学科研的优秀青年人才到学院工作。招聘岗位为准聘助理教授或准聘副教授,拟招聘岗位数为5个,方向如下:

(1)建筑历史与理论

(2)建筑/城市设计及其理论

(3)建筑技术

(4)规划理论

(5)规划设计

(6)规划技术

 

【申请条件】

(1)遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规,热爱教学科研事业。

(2)具有良好的师德师风,恪守学术道德,勤勉工作,无犯罪记录,无违反师德师风和学术道德的惩处记录。

(3)一流的学术背景:具有国内外一流大学的建筑学、城乡规划学或相关学科的博士学位。准聘助理教授原则上需有2年以上的国内外一流高校或研究机构的教学或科研工作经历;准聘副教授原则上需有5年以上的国内外一流高校或研究机构的教学或科研工作经历。

(4)出色的教学能力:具有能够胜任本专业核心基础课程和前沿课程的教学能力,掌握良好的教学方法,具有较强的语言表达能力。

(5)突出的科研成果显示度与未来科研发展潜力:突出的研究显示度与未来发展潜力。

(6)身体健康,能够胜任本职工作。

Faculty Recruitment, Call for Tenure-Track/Tenured Positions in 2021,

School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Nanjing University

 

[About the School]

The School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Nanjing University, consists of Department of Architecture and Department of Urban Planning. The School fosters high-level professionals specializing in architectural design, urban design, landscape planning and design, urban and regional planning, etc. Department of Architecture has a solid base in architectural design research and architectural history and theory, carrying out cutting-edge research and teaching in the emerging fields of urbanism, digital architecture and sustainable architecture. Department of Urban Planning is originated from human geography and economic geography and, based upon the strong cluster of urban sciences in Nanjing University, fosters a cross-disciplinary research and teaching towards urban and regional planning. The School offers Doctor of Engineering in Architecture, Doctor of Engineering in Urban-rural Planning, Master of Science in Architecture, Master of Science in Urban-rural Planning. The School currently has 68 full-time faculty members, including 20 Professors and 22 Associate Professors, all of whom have educational and working experience in leading universities inland and/or abroad, and excellence in design and practice.

 

[Positions of Recruitment]

The School seeks excellent young talents interested in teaching and research in architecture and urban-rural planning. This academic year it  drafts place of invite applications for five tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor specializing in the following directions:

(1) Architectural History and Theory

(2) Architectural / Urban Design and Theory

(3) Building Technology

(4) Urban Planning Theory

(5) Urban Planning and Design

(6) Urban Planning Technology

 

[Required Qualifications]

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and enthusiastic of teaching and scientific research;

(2) Good teaching ethics, adhere to academic ethics, work diligently, and have no criminal record or punishment record for violating teaching ethics and academic ethics;

(3) Outstanding academic background, i.e., PhD in architecture or urban Planning or relevant disciplines, from top universities inland and/or abroad. Tenure-track Assistant Professor should, in principle, have more than 2 years of teaching or scientific research experience in first-class universities or research institutions inland and/or abroad. Tenure-track Associate Professor should, in principle, have more than 5 years of teaching or scientific research experience in first-class universities or research institutions inland and/or abroad;

(4) Excellent teaching abilities: be competent in the core basic courses and frontier courses of the discipline, good pedagogy, and good presentation skills;

(5) Prominent research achievement and research development potential;

(6)  Healthy and competent for the job.

[Remuneration Package]
